I first heard of Whiskful Thinking after seeing them on Netflix. I am easily influenced, so I bookmarked this location immediately once I found out they were located in Las Vegas. Everything was fantastic! Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of each flavor. I do want to mention that I prefer my desserts less sweet, so this was a bit too sweet for my tastes, and I needed to eat them over time and not in one sitting. But the flavors were great, and I highly recommend trying this place out!

The owner was super nice. The place was super clean. It was my first time in & I will give it another shot. There wasn’t a lot of choices but she let me know she was getting ready to debut some new spring items.  I bought two cupcakes 1) red velvet & 1) coconut caramel. My husband loves red velvet. The red velvet was flavorful but a bit dry in spots but the frosting was really good. The coconut caramel just did not work for me at all.  The cupcakes was dry and rather tasteless, and I can’t describe the frosting but I wasn’t a fan at all. I can’t say it was too buttery or heavy, definitely didn’t have a flavor I could get behind. I had considered the lemon & the next time I go I will definitely give it a go.I love going to small businesses & really hope they succeed so I’ll be going back again to try other cupcake flavors……. Cuz honestly who doesn’t love a cupcake??

100% worth the read if you’re on the fence about cupcakes…Let’s just get it out there, I’m EXTRA… I’m THAT Mom that everyone rolls their eyes about because I go all out for everything cute, parties, crafts… oopsie?!My kiddo’s 7th birthday party was around the corner and I took it upon myself to pick a handful of bakeries to taste test cupcakes.. why not, who doesn’t love to eat cake for no reason?!  Here’s my 2 cents on how it went without name-bashing, you can probably guess who they are: Bakery that has been open for over 30+ years – their cupcakes by far, fell flat, it was dry, tasteless and tragically blah.  Bakery that has a well established name on 215/Eastern- good but nothing that knocked my socks offBakery in Summerlin, lower price point than the above- good taste, moist-ish and the frosting was very light, not overpowering sweet and good!! Bakery on 215/rainbow- they looked pretty but they were rock hard upon purchasing, frosting was overly sweet and I was let down by the look vs the taste vs the price.  Staff was not friendly, nor helpful- that alone would have kept me away anyway. And then there’s Whiskful… I’ve been stalking them on IG over a year before they opened their storefront.  I never ordered from them before.  But I walked in and just seeing their cupcakes, I had high hopes…  They LOOK like a gourmet cupcake, they are slightly larger in size than the average cupcake like those listed above as well as Sams/Costco.  Whatever magical goodness the frosting is made of- feels so good in your mouth – it tastes light and kind of airy, tastes like fresh whipped cream but with a frosting consistency.  You get the feeling like it’s soft-serve ice cream and you just want to scoop it off and eat it all by itself!  I digress, you can’t have one and not the other, the cake is moist, light and airy but still enough to feel like you’re eating cake.  The staff is all so nice, friendly and helpful.  Each time there were patrons in there and they chatted up each of us with friendly conversation.   Don’t waste your money or calories on dry, tasteless cupcakes.  These cupcakes are worth every dollar!!!  I ordered one dozen of each of the classic flavors that are always available.  For a kid party, the first to go was the confetti, then the chocolate oreo, then the strawberry.  We had quite a bit of coconut left over – but we took them home and took care of it!! There were a ton of complements about the cupcakes at the party, people wanted to know where I got them from.  So that should speak for itself – It validated my purchase and my conquest to find the best!  Whiskful will be my go-to for all of my cakes!!

The cake was delicious and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bakery was too busy with orders and unable to make a cake  for my daughters birthday with such short notice. They decorated a pre made cake and it was beautiful. The pistachio cupcake with baklava topping was amazing as well.

Luckily this bakery popped up on my Instagram page. Stopped by to order a cake for my grandmother’s 105th birthday. Great location. The staff was amazing. Korey the baker even came out to make sure my order was perfect. I came in with some basic requests but left the creativity up to her and did she knock it out of the park. When I picked up the cake I was blown away. Hands down the best birthday cake I’ve even seen or tasted. Thank you for making this special occasion even more special.
