The Sand Dollar Lounge

This place was perfect. Live blues and busy but super spacious so not crowded. We sat in the back away from the stage and we’re able to talk and enjoy ourselves. Didn’t try the bar bites as we came straight from dinner but they looked good. Only wish we had found another couple to play shuffleboard with!

We went on two occasions.The bar is good and the live band does enough justice to the enviornment.Prime time would be midnight to 1AM.The drinks menu is does justice as well, its a comfy place to down urself in couple of drinks with some nice music by the band and people dancing a bit around.

We have frequented the Spring Mountain lounge and thought we’d check out downtown lounge located in Plaza. New place is very nice. Easy to get to from parking garage. Take your parking ticket in and barkeep will validate for you. Staff is very friendly. Same great drink options here. Nice new feel to place. Stage area is larger with more seating options. Another great place to listen to live music. We’ll definitely return!

Great food which is freshly made pizza, great service, and even better ambiance with a different band performing nightly! My go-to for live music!

Liden, Nick, and Jake are the most welcoming, friendly bartenders and I have met in all my times of coming to Vegas. If you want good music, good bartenders, and a good time; come to the Sand Dollar Lounge. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Off the beaten path…definitely a super chill local spot! Not far from the strip, but definitely not walkable. I think there is even live music every night. The venue is a pretty good size, it’s larger than it looks from the outside. The specialty drink here is Old Fashioned, the staff does a brilliant job, the drinks are brilliant and consistent. The bar tenders actually taste the drinks with a straw before they serve to you. There are a couple of pool tables and a shuffle board table for your entertainment. You can order a pizza to satisfy the munchies, as there is a kitchen inside the bar as well. I haven’t seen this place packed, but do enjoy the vibes here; very diverse; a mix of all sorts of folks, ages and ethnicities. I wish they would update their menu on the website since they will not make the cocktails on the menu. They tell you “next week” every week. They probably like the tourist traffic they get from their false specials.  They got called out on facebook about it.

Right when we thought this place has good vibe despite its run down location, with live band who does good job this bartender (beard with thick black frame glasses) killed the vibe with his aggressive and rude body language and mean way of giving warnings over a simple issue which can be explained politely. Owner should take this serious and lecture the bar tender who  especially is working in hospitality. I am still giving 3 stars for the good music and good Coctail selection although Coctail menu they advertised on their website was not available, they had new menu. Thanks.

Tonight around 11 pm  to I go to gamble at Sand Dollar three machines are shut down pet bar tender They are outside smoking per bar tenderThey return and do not play machine that they closed down.

The live music is great. The bar is cool, it’s a good atmosphere. But the bartenders can be rude. Even on a not busy night. Received a lot of attitude over nothing. Won’t be eager to return.
