    Came to this store 30 min before closing and wanted to exchange someItems without my receipt , Karina helped me and was great she knew exactly what to help me with and found it with ease and  Rebecca rang me out she was very nice and patient with me during the whole transaction even when the register froze up , her and Karina was able to fix it I was able to get my little some summer clothes really great team work and customer service thank you

    I absolutely love The Children’s Place and is my go to business for my son’s school uniform. I thought I would pop into this Henderson location at the Galleria on Saturday 1/14 around 4pm. I picked out a few things for both my kids and stood in line. Not sure what was going on but the customer in front of me was having an issue and it held up the line. We stood there for probably 10 minutes and had about 2 more customers accumulate behind us. During this time of waiting, there was a young girl helping the customer at the register. There was another associate behind the other register doing some sort of inventory. In the 15 minutes we waited in line, not one of those girls greeted any of us in line or assured us that they would be right with us. Having worked in customer service before, this was a complete shock to me. There were two older ladies that came out from the back for a split second and then back into the back room. The two customers behind me eventually gave up and set their pile of clothes down and walked out the door. We waited a few minutes and did the same. No acknowledgment to the customers waiting. I won’t be back to shop at this store sadly but I will continue my business online.

    This review is for the website and “customer service” phone Dept. I placed an ordered for 8 pairs of pants for my son for school and play. Their item descriptions are so similar on each item, I didn’t notice (my fault) that some of the ones I selected were marked “skinny fit”. Moments after I placed my order I sent a message asking to modify the items if they were in stock. i also called first thing the next morning again asking to modify the items to the regular fit if they were in stock. their customer service Dept can’t do anything except send an email to another Dept asking for refund and they can’t guarantee they will cancel and refund. they cannot modify any order, nor can they cancel it themselves or even place orders over the phone. Not sure what their customer service Dept can do! They hadn’t done anything to process my order yet so I was hoping they could modify and switch the items before they started processing it. This has turned into the first and LAST time I shop with this company. They have my money and refuse to do anything to help me.

    If I could give this place a zero, I would. I was in the store the other day, and purchased some items. I was asked about signing up for the my place credit card. I was told I could save 30% on todays order. I signed up since I just moved here and my daughter is growing fast. I figured I’d be in this store often. However, I signed up, got approved and everything looked great. She gave me the 30% off. Then another lady named Ashleigh came over. She was very rude and messed everything up. She then said that she doesn’t know what happened and is unable to charge the credit card. I said that’s fine I can just pay for it and we can figure it out later. I asked for the number to the credit card people. She gave me a booklet and then removed the discount and said I have to pay full price because she can’t charge the card. I asked if she could honor the discount or ask someone if they could and she refused. Then she was very rude. I was very patient and waited there while they tried and figure it out. After being in there for an hr and her still doing nothing to get the issue fixed or honor the discount I just paid for the clothes and left. I will never come back here. Ashleigh is very unprofessional and did nothing to help. I asked her to call someone to get it fixed and nothing. I got an email need everything saying I was approved for the card. So I don’t know what happened in there machines end. She never called anybody to get anything fixed and she never asked if she could honor the 40% off discount. I am very displeased with how they handled this.

    We were able to do an even exchange for four pairs of skinny jeans in size 10 for our son. My mil bought the wrong style. We had him try every pair on including size 12 (but it’s too big). So we settled on Size 10 Straight Stretch jeans, in aged indigo (stonewash), winston wash (grey), dark rinse wash, and black wash, all marked 24.50 but in the $15.99 section against the left side wall. Normally the racks are full and most of the clothes are fully stocked. It looks like the Christmas shopping crowd might’ve pillaged and plundered! But we were able to find the sizes we needed. We were glad. This was the last return. (We spent the day after Christmas on returns.)Boys clothing is on the left side. Girls clothing is on the right side. The single dressing room is a little messy but there were only two people working. One person was in the corner emptying the boxes. The lady at the counter was really nice. We didn’t have a receipt but the tags were still attached.The t-shirts were fully stocked – at the front – priced at $4.99. The Gymboree line is near the back.

    Horrible!!!! I went to return some shorts that were brand new tags on and they said they can only return items for the same exact iteM without a receipt!! And right now they aren’t selling shorts!! So they would issue me store credit I bought these online and cannot find the email of the receipt so now I’m stuck with $89 worth of shorts my daughter will never wear And I can’t even wait till next summer because these are size 16 and that’s the highest they go in sizes. Ridiculous I shop here so much but after today never again I’ll stick with old navy!!!

    Worst experience at this store location. I’ve been shopping at this store for years. My oldest is 17 now, so that should let you know. I came in and purchased four pairs of size 10 jeans for my daughter, tried them on when she got home from school and they were a little too big. I went back in the next day (9-3) to exchange them for a size 8 and it was already a hell scene from there! The girls told me that they “couldn’t do anything for me since I didn’t have a receipt”, mind you, when I purchased them that the cashier knew I couldn’t get into my email and I asked if there would be a problem if I exchanged them the next day, but of course not, right?! Any who, yesterday there was a big problem and then to solve it, they were acting like they were doing ME a FAVOR by “exchanging” it for the same style. I’ve worked retail for years and shopped here for years. They were also able to bring up my information by my number in the system but could not bring up my receipt or print out my receipt from Thursday (9-2). Any who, to make matters worse! I go to do laundry right now and noticed that I only had THREE pairs of jeans instead of the FOUR jeans. I called the store and the girl “checked the cameras” and also claimed the girl who helped me yesterday AND told me to leave my bag at the register said that I only brought in three jeans. LOL!!! Seriously, You CAN NOT make up this stuff up!!!! I came in with FOUR JEANS.. and you gave me THREE JEANS because you were too busy worrying about not giving my daughter the GREY jeans which was not a COLOR we originally had but was the SAME price, but get this… she ended up going back and bringing me another pair of blue jeans that wasn’t even the same style we originally had neither, but because it was BLUE like our original jeans we brought in.. she was going to give it to us. That’s how PETTY these girls are who work here. That doesn’t even make any kind of sense! Every Jean has its own style number. I’m far from stupid!Never shopping at this location again. I also read over the reviews and see Adriana’s name in some of the other comments, so I’m not surprised. I wish I knew the other girls name, too, but it’s okay. I’m getting my jeans they left out of my bag tomorrow and if they do not give it to me then I’m going higher up the ladder and contacting my bank because this is ridiculous and a waste of time!!

    Had a terrible experience when I came in on March 15th 2021! I got to the store at 6:45 and they had already had the rope over the door saying they were closing which the actual store isn’t supposed to close until 7pm!! I might have been a little bit late but all I had to do was grab 2 uniforms for my daughter for school. The young lady at the door was very rude!! She stated that i could only come in if I knew what I was getting and Would get out exactly at 7. EXCUSE ME? I get you want to go home but your turning away business when your doors aren’t even supposed to be closed yet & you’re deciding to be absolutely rude on top of that? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I’m regretting not getting her name now cause of how rude she was and the way she was talking to me they didn’t want to have to deal with me when I literally didn’t have to purchase much but you know what that will definitely be the last time I go to this location PERIOD. I’ll take my money elsewhere.
