Good play had a good time with my friend.  I loved the modernize version of A Midsummer’s Night Dream. It was funny and a bit different. Best for me was when they used a Shakira song . Was worried about the weather and if there’d be any good food. Food was decent 9 dollars for 3 small tacos carne asada and chorizo tasted really good, they also offer veggie options for example jackfruit, might try that next time and I also ordered a hibiscus drink, by the way tasted like the real deal no artificial taste to it, didn’t care much for the pear drink that was too sweet. There’s other food truck options, cake in a cup I believe and then another one about drinks and a snack bar too but from popcorn to hot dogs and like everyone else has said you can bring your own food and drinks as well as chairs. Definitely get there early because good seating fills fast. Rental chairs are still a dollar. There are people as you enter and exit that lead you to where to go and park, that’s a plus!

The production and talent are much higher than you’d expect from the venue. Or Las Vegas for that matter. Nestled in the park among majestic mountains are musicals that rival the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles. AND you get to picking with BYOB. Just be picky that it’s a show you like or want to see and you’re bound to be pleased. Or don’t, it’s cheap enough where you don’t feel like you wasted money. Also, listen to your mom and bring a damn jacket.

Such a great location for a terrific production. I really love coming to shows here.  The production quality is wonderful and the price really can’t be beat.Gates open at 6. We arrived at 5:50 pm on a Friday opening weekend and there was already quite a line, but we managed to get a good seat on blankets near the front.  Actually, there were people coming in at 7:30 that still got seats near the front. But for the best seats definitely get there early, especially if you plan to rent a chair or on a busier night. The front rows of the chair section were already filled by the time we made it to the theater from our place in line. The parking lot opens at 5 if you are realllllly wanting to be first in line. Can’t speak to the food, but there is a concession stand and a food truck serving up some delicious looking cake and ice cream desserts.  We always pack a ton of food, wine, blankets, and entertainment for the kids to kill the 2 hours before show time. Board games are the best, and a soccer ball proved very beneficial this last time.It can get quite cool at night, so be prepared if it’s not your average Vegas sweltering summer night. When we came it was a beautiful 75 degrees, but by the time the show started we had on coats and blankets, and I was still cold.Only downside is they need more restrooms.  Only  6 individual restrooms for hundreds of people leads to very long lines.  I’ve waited 25+ minutes before, so go early if you can instead of right before showtime.

If you love the theatre, you will love this place! Come at least an hour before the show so you can sit close up! No lawn chairs allowed, only stadium seats without legs. They have chairs for rent for only $1, but they are hard lawn chairs with legs that have been sawed off, and they will hurt your but! Bring a tarp to put on the ground if it rained before your show, (yes it happens, even in Las Vegas). Temperatures drop at night, bring a sweatshirt or blanket to huddle under. You can bring your own food, but they have vendors selling stuff inside now. This last season they had Jason’s Deli, Hawaiian doughnuts, pizza, popcorn, soda, etc. You are allowed to bring in alcohol. Lots of wine and cheese all around! Do NOT Drink & Drive, stay sober and enjoy the show!

This is a really neat experience, coming from St Louis where they have an out door theater, this is the closest thing I can get to our door theater. The staff was very nice and friendly, the seating was nice I don’t think there was a bad seat in the house. I definitely will return to see more shows. The prices were reasonable for the shows also.

A group of us attended the “She Loves Me” play and it ended up being cancelled due to the weather.  Their policy states that a refund is warranted when a show is cancelled.  I contacted them the day after the show was cancelled to get my refund.  They informed me that the refund would be deposited to my credit card.  Since I was told this 3 weeks ago, I have not received my refund.I have continually called their office for the last 3 weeks and have been told it’s being taking care of.  Still no refund.  Now when I call, they avoid my calls.  I know this because I called from a different phone and they picked up.  This is not how you treat your customers.Next Steps;-  Report to Consumer Affairs-  Report to Better Business Bureau-  and more….No one should have to deal with this behavior!  So, before you think about attending a play here, think again.  It will be a hassle getting your money back if a show is cancelled!

Took my first trip to Spring Mountain Ranch Super Summer Theater production last evening along with a friend, her daughter and our grandkids to see Peter Pan. The kids aged from 5-9. The outdoor venue is nice and it was so refreshing to escape the heat. Beautiful slight breeze, sky full of stars and not really a long drive using the 215. Unfortunately due to the seating arrangements, it was extremely difficult to see the stage. We had lawn chairs and followed the website directions that they should be no taller than 18 inches. However, others did not. The hill does not have enough elevation so all viewers can see the stage. This made it difficult to follow the story, especially for the kids. Another thing is the play was far from your grandma’s version of the classic Peter Pan. Again, hard for kiddos to follow. All in all it is a nice getaway but as my 6 year old granddaughter stated, “They really need to figure out a way for people to be able to see what’s going on!” I have been to outdoor theater in Utah (Tuacahn) numerous times and it is worth the $ and drive for the exceptional outdoor theater experience compared to what we offer here. Kudos to the actors/actresses for a fine job!

Such a fun night out to do with friends or family over the summer in Vegas! I love supporting the arts and local theater    You can rent a plastic floor chair for $1 or sit on your own blanket on the hill. They do sell some food and snacks there, like popcorn, sandwiches, etc. but you’re allowed to bring in all your own food, drinks and even alcohol. The temperature is about 12 degrees cooler in the mountain than whatever the Vegas weather is on the news, so it’s totally tolerable. Tickets are reasonably priced and they give you an option to donate more if you want to.

This is always an awesome time. They have great plays, music, and now food and chair rentals! The next one is Peter Pan and we’ll be there for that, too.Bring a sweater, it’s cooler up there, some singles for regular or low profile chairs, and some cash for food. They do take debit cards.

I went for the first time with some friends and it was a perfect GNO night.  We saw “She Loves Me.”  It was a great time.  You can bring your own food, drinks even alcohol which I was suprised about.  It would also make for a great date night.    It is a great evening with plays, under the stars or monsoon clouds and away from the city lights.  I will be going to more of them.
