Sofrito Rico Authentic Puerto Rican Cuisine

Amazing service. The waitress was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond.My brother and I got the stewed chicken, beef stew, beans, tostones, surrullitos, arroz mamposteao, and arroz con grandules. Everything was absolutely delicious. The tostones and surrullitos are great starters, very crunchy and they have nice sauces to dip them in. The arroz mamposteao stole the show for the rices, very flavorful and reminded me a lot of jambalaya are far as flavor profile. The beef stew has a nice, tangy broth. Both the beef and the chicken were so tender. The consommé that comes with the chicken is savory and is probably my favorite. Beans were also full of flavor and had a nice consistency.Restaurant gives off a cozy vibe, and music is loud enough to hear, but quiet enough to have a conversation .

Was in town celebrating my birthday with my family and it was our last day in town and we wanted some food that was going to be filling as well as delicious. My mom had been here once before and said the food was great so we all piled into an Uber and took the ride here. Upon walking in the fragrances of the food filled the air and I knew right away the food was going to be sensational. I ordered a lunch bowl that had pork, arroz con gandules, and plantains. We also ordered bacalaito, rellenos de papa. All of the food was delicious and tasted authentic. The service was wonderful and our waiter was attentive even though she was the only waiter and was super busy during the lunch rush. Next time we’re in town we will definitely be coming back.

I was craving a taste of home and found this gem!! Just like mom used to make . It’s fresh hot and RICO !! If your visiting Las Vegas check this place out !!

I have never been treated so rude and disrespectfully it was my first time in and the waitress acted as if I had done something wrong she ignored me for about 10 minutes every time I looked at her she looked pissed off so I just got up and walked out I will never come back to the shit hole

I’ve been coming to Sofrito Rico since they opened in 2015. So thankful to be able to eat Authentic Puerto Rican food here in Las Vegas. I dropped in yesterday to bring my brother who was visiting from San Antonio so he can experience how good the food is here. He was not disappointed! The food is was so flavorful and the food was nice size portions with great prices. It reminded us of being back home. Moving here from Long Island NY I always had access to Alcapurria’s, Pasteles, tostones, Mofongo, and etc. when I moved to Vegas it was so hard to find the ingredients to make it at home. When Sofrito Rico opened I was so excited. Now I can go when ever I want. I’ve been here plenty of times for the holidays and also had food catered for my husbands birthday last July. Everyone raved about how good the Bistec Encobollado and arroz con gondules was. Everything was nice and hot when I got home and the Bistec was very tender and melted in your mouth! I will continue to come here for food and I will continue to show support to my local Latina. The service is always on point! The owner Susanette is really sweet and is always there cooking when I come in which I love that about coming here. The ambiance makes me feel like I’m in Puerto Rico. I love everything about it!  If you haven’t tried Puerto Rican food before, you have no idea what your missing. FYI: They also have take out as well.

The food here is delicious. Never fails when I eat here. Everything is seasoned very well. The staff is very friendly. Food comes out quick too. I ordered the Churrasco and mofongo this time and both cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.

The food here was excellent. My daughter said “The empanadas taste just like the ones in Puerto Rico.” Just be prepared to wait. But it’s worth it.

The food at  Sofrito Rico is absolutely delicious,  the food is seasoned just right, nice, warm, welcoming atmosphere.  The staff are professional.  You won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu.  I recommend this as one of Vegas’ top authentic restaurants.It’s definitely a must

Everything is has that authentic flavor like if you’re on the island. I haven’t tried everything but what I have tried has been amazing. You are greeted as soon as you walk inside.

Excellent food. The best Latin American/Caribbean food in Vegas! Try the Pernil, and the Empanadillas!
