Positive Changes Dog Training

Their cards had been left at my vet office, so I figured I’d call to get some info on basic command puppy training for a small bread dog. The sales girl on the phone was very rude. She seemed highly offended when I asked her for ballpark prices for puppy training. She kept insisting that pricing info wouldn’t be given out unless I scheduled and attended an in-office 45-minute consultation. With two small children and a 30+ minute drive, I do not see the need to hide pricing info over the phone. I wasn’t looking for a quote, just a ballpark, so I didn’t waste their or my time. I was struck with how rude the phone representative was. I’ve since received upfront pricing info from several other dog training providers and recommendations from neighbors, so I’ll be bringing my business elsewhere.

I had a consultation with Bobby today. The entire experience was unpleasant. One of the first questions he asked me was where is your husband? Umm, maybe the person who scheduled me to come in should have mentioned that you preferred more than just me to be there. For $599 we can teach your dog 10 basic commands .. I started asking questions and I no longer felt welcome. I think I am entitled to ask questions without being subjected to rude and cocky responses. I was trying to understand the process and I am not stupid so take the time to explain.

I’ve been looking for a good dog trainer in the area for quite a while after a bad experience I had elsewhere. Bobby and his team are doing an excellent job with my American bulldog. Just in the first session alone I noticed so much improvement on what my dog is capable of learning.

Our Goldendoodle is five months old and had her first class today and achieved all of her goals. She was the oldest in her class and it was a great opportunity to socialize with other puppies. We are pleased with this class. Our nephew has a Goldendoodle and they can be great dogs with some training.

What a great experience for both Sadie and our family. The trainers at PC dog training are very professional and skilled. We took private classes so Sadie would be able to have one-on-one time with us and optimal attentiveness. The results were amazing. I was so pleased at how quickly she learned all of her commands and we were given homework and a booklet with all of her training to practice between classes. She did so great we’re continuing to build off of her training and she’s learning new skills. So pleased with our friends at PC dog training!

We had such a great experience with PC and Lisa training our pup Elliott. We learned a lot and cannot wait to start another round of training!Bobby met us in our home and evaluated our dog then we had 5 training sessions with Lisa for a VERY reasonable price IMO. Four training sessions were in & outside our apartment which was nice since we wanted Lisa to view how he was in our home. The final training at the facility was great to help with interactions with other dogs. The training facility where the group classes are held is very nice and clean!I love PC Dog Training! So I will continue this review as we go through the program. But thought I’d start with the first hello. Bobby and Nicole are incredibly sweet. I called 2 days ago and Nicole got right back to me. We set up a virtual appointment via zoom for the following day. The hour we were supposed to zoom I completely forgot. It was about 15 minutes after and they had politely texted me. And they were still available to take my chat! I was really happy with that. Bobby seems very knowledgeable. My dog has issues with people and Bobby was very confident he could help give my dog some structure to help during his times of uncertainty. I was also very impressed with how Bobby stated, “Some dogs just don’t like certain people, not all people like certain people.” So it was nice for him to tell me he could help, but my dogs issue, (which is with one person in particular) won’t be 100% fixed. He said he could give us a better way to help our dog during this time, but some dogs and people just won’t mesh. I was sure when he said this that I wanted to work with him. He wasn’t trying to sugar coat anything, very straight forward. We are starting our virtual training soon and once quarantine is up we will be in some private classes. I look forward to working with this team.

Bobby and Nicole are fantastic! They have trained 3 of our dogs and the results are amazing. His technique is one of the best and very effective. All our dogs loved him as well and his scheduling is really flexible and works around our needs. Thank you for all your hard work with our fur babies.
