On The Record Speakeasy & Club

Went on Saturday night over Memorial Day weekend! Cover was 30 men 20 women. The DJ was lively and drinks were strong! There is a open roof area as well which is beautiful! Highly recommend for a night out with friends.

I came here for the first time a year ago, last july, for my cousins 21st birthday and we loved this place so we came back for our other friends 22nd birthday. The guy checking our ID’s has to have 6 people check mine with flashlights to see if my ID is real, they turn me away because it “doesn’t meet the criteria” which is implying they think it’s a fake ID. I offered to show them my digital ID and my old ID from before I was 21 because in Arizona it is the law that you have to get your ID changed from vertical to horizontal once you are 21+ if you want to buy alcohol. I was on a guest list and had just minutes before spoke with the club promoter I was in contact with who works there, the bouncer told me and my friends to leave. Really upsetting to have been in such a cool place only to be turned away for a fake ID that is clearly real. A group of 6 for a birthday are really disappointed:(

Came here because a promoter invited us and implied that Usher would be there and would perform at the after party. Made us get there by 11:15pm, waited in line for an hour to get in and then waited until 3am at closing and Usher never came out to say hi or perform. We saw him pop his head out of the VIP section around 2:45am but that was it. False promotion by promoter and social media pages, please don’t make it seem like we’re gonna see a celebrity on if we’re not. Spoke to security on the way out and they told us Usher usually stays in the back VIP and rarely makes an appearance. Will not be coming back! Sad because we liked the music too but not the false advertisement.

Do not come to this club. They scammed us saying usher will be performing at the afterparty and we never saw him. The usher “concert” is the dj playing usher music. Claimed itll be super busy and to come early. had us show up at 11, waited an hour in guestlist line and stayed until 3. 4 whole hours SMH. Never again. Dont waste your time or money people. I asked security and she told us the truth. Usher dont be coming to the club and if he does, he stays in VIP so youll never see him. Also they had the 2 other rooms but those are blocked off to people who pay extra. So really only 1 dance floor. The videos are very deceiving and totally f-up tricking people like that. Also the club is super small and packed like sardines and very low ceilings. Someone farted and it smelled sooo bad, the stank took forever to disperse. Also dirty restrooms. Vegas has a ton of club options so I wont be returning. First and last. No thanks.

Went to this places for a friends birthday and we were really disappointed first when we walked in and get to the security they tell us we can’t bring are vapes or cart pens and had to throw them away even are cart batteries and on the website or when you walk in it doesn’t say you may not bring any smoking devices and when we walk in we see people smoking cigarettes and smelling like straight weed when we entered we got drinks of course but they were too OVER PRICED and didn’t TASTE like what I usually get  and the music was MID I do not recommend this place if your younger 21+ it’s more of older people Club

Bartender refused to serve tap water unless we bought an additional drink after already buying a bottle and several drinks at the bar. Hope his short azz enjoys working behind the bar the rest of his life making $55k a year on the graveyard shift.

Pricey drinks but it’s the strip, they are strong though so that’s a plus! Good atmosphere and great music.

On The Record is an absolute blast!  Always a different form of entertainment, whether it be an after party for a show, a birthday, a karaoke night, or just a midweek (Wednesday) night out!  Prices are great compared to other similar spots.  The staff is super friendly and they always create a welcoming experience.  If you’re looking to go with a decent sized group, I would strongly recommend trying to book one of their karaoke rooms!  I would give OTR 10 stars if Yelp allowed it.

Such a great time. OTR has the “club” experience but a little more lowkey. There is an outside area that is so much fun and perfect to get some fresh air. Service was wonderful too.
