food was great, the pastries are very affordable. employees were super friendly and helpful. the layout of the store was also very cozy and had games to play. love this place especially for a social hangout or just studying in general

Decided to stop here after seeing some high reviews. Got a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it’s quite possibly the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life. I may not be a resident of Vegas but if I ever come back to this city I’m hitting this place up

Grouchy John’s Coffee has been numerously recommended to us but the one down in Henderson so when I saw this location pop up on my Yelp hunt for breakfast I was very surprised and excited to try this northwest location. Atmosphere: Tucked into a small business lot next to Metro Pizza and nearby the Auto Zone. Urban brick exterior and brick interior meats marble and modern rustic interior with a brilliant high beamed ceiling. The customer service is pleasant and they bring your order to your seat with a smile. The coffee was delicious and flavorful. I enjoyed their Almond Roca Mocha with Almond milk. It was rich and creamy. The Grouchy John is one of their most popular specialty coffees which my husband fully enjoyed. They came with bright stoppers to go for the park. The breakfast sandwich on the croissant was hot and fresh. I added bacon to mine which heightened its flavor even more. The Nutella and strawberry toast was simple and my kid loved it. The bread crust was not hard to cut and the strawberries were fresh. My husband and kids loved their donuts to add some sweetness to the savory breakfast. Recommendation:Go! Locally owned and locally sourced, Las Vegas roots, 2 friends Grouchy John and JJ who met in school started this business. Support local! Overall, we really enjoyed our first visit and can’t wait to return again. I received a stamp card for return visits and it also works at the Henderson location. Great place for a meet up, family friendly, dog friendly, and quiet enough to work and study. I totally recommend for a chill spot in the Centennial Hills neighborhood.

Discovered a great coffee shop in Las Vegas!  Grouchy John’s served us great coffee and incredible croissant breakfast sandwiches (see photo). Yum!! @grouchyjohns

Extreme false advertisement!!!! I don’t understand why they advertise that they are open 24/7 when they close during graveyard hours so often. I start work at 4-5 AM and enjoy stoping at this shop for coffee, however it is always a gamble if they will be open (even thought they advertise 24/7, what a joke!)  I’ve even been told by employees before WHO WERE WORKING “sorry we are closed for cleaning” while pulled up in the drive way, and also that “they hope no one comes in the odd hours because they just want to clean” what a welcoming environment right!!!! I will not be giving this place my service anymore, it’s not that good and the employees are rude.

I used to love this place but the service, the quality, everything has gone downhill over the last couple years. This morning I waited 25 minutes in the drive through. I will probably only be back when they have their happy hour if it’s a last minute and last resort type thing

It feels great walking In a local coffee spot and the owner recognizes you. We try to come every weekend. The service is great and the place is clean it’s definitely a spot to enjoy with the family. Ps if you don’t like your drink they will make you another one right away and that’s amazing…

By FAR the best coffee shop in Vegas. The owner is very present and active. He engages with everybody and makes sure all his customers are taken care of. Family friendly environment and an amazing place to start your day. Oh the almond Rocha Mocha is a must.

Have been here a couple times now.Tried Carmel macchiato, O.G coffee and Carmel mocha. They were all equally delicious and tasted like real coffee. Also have tried danish, egg sandwich and muffin. They were all very good. Donuts looked amazing so will have to try those next time!It was a good selection of food items and coffee. Staff is friendly and helped to suggest some items to try. Place is quiet and cute. Great location and would highly recommend trying.Prices were comparable to other “chain” coffee places and I’m not getting a frozen breakfast sandwich heated up in a toaster oven lolWould much rather support a local business.
