WOW! It’s amazing! Best show in town I’ve seen in my 2 years here. It’s true var show. Lots of music, dancing, circus, etc… 90 minutes passing so fast! But good vibes stay with you. Now I know which show to take my friends too for true Vegas fun, celebration of everything beautiful. People of all ages can enjoy it.No bad sit in the house. Lights, music, visual effects you can enjoy from anywhere. Although there’s booths available as well.Go and check out for yourself, take all your family and friends too – they will thank you for that for sure.

This exact show (jugglers, silks, roller skating, etc) is done so much better elsewhere (OPM, Absinthe). The shtick they use to fill in between the acts was awful. Getting one side of the audience to cheer louder than the other? Are we at a pep rally? Three stars for the actual acrobats and talented performers who were all incredible, but I’d rather throw money into a slot machine than waste it sitting through the junk act that happened between the actual entertainment. The only reason to see this show is if you’re looking for something extremely G rated to take kids to. They might be amused by the storyline.

What an amazing show!! Glad we came here from a friend’s recommendation. Price is very affordable and the theater is a good size where you can see everything. It was advertised for 90 minutes but the night we came it ended 10 minutes early.

I’m enchanted and mind blown about this show! The performance is very alluring and captivating, there’s a seamless transition of fantasy, excitement, and laughter along with audience engagement. It’s similar to a variety show but more elevated and impressive. They have a fabulous storyline that will keep a person, even a five year old, smiling and totally entertained! The theater is located inside Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino near I-15, on Flamingo and Valley View. Parking is free at the Masquerade Garage. There is a security bag check and no outside food is allowed. It’s okay to take photos however, flash photography and video recording are not permitted. My friend had tickets to the 7pm show and we had seats that were close to the stage. It was astounding to see all kinds of brilliant costumes and fantastic talents! We were enamored by themes from under the sea, a mermaid and pirate, a beautiful entourage dancing to Titanic, and there were awesome snippets of juggling, acrobats, water dancing, comedy, and aerial. All in all, this was truly a spectacular Vegas show that completely stands out and takes the cake, it’s definitely worth returning for!

From the moment they start the show you are immersed into the show from having the big screens all around the stage. If that doesn’t catch your eye the music will draw you in they have a great selection of music for all ages. So if that wasn’t enough these performances that you will see are amazing on there own, you have people dancing singing flying through the air on stage as well as water splashing all over the stage. On top of all that they have a full bar inside the showroom..This is one show that is a must see for all ages 5 and up!! This is located inside the Rio casino and there is free parking and plenty of parking.

WOW! I’ve seen this show 4 times over the years now (twice in 2018, 2021, & 2023), and it still remains one of the best shows in Vegas! Especially given its family-friendly nature and affordable price point in the $50s! While they’ve added and removed some of the variety acts over the years, the show itself, including its water theme and storyline, remains the same. Just talking about this show doesn’t do it justice!! I’d highly recommend seeing it if you haven’t already!! Some of the actors even stay afterward for photo ops outside the theater!

Rio Vegas’ @wowshowvegas is my favorite family-friendly show in Las Vegas. Yesterday was my fourth time seeing it and I love it every time. An Italian fisherman is tranfixed by a beautiful mermaid who is caught on his hook. He is then transported to an under-the-sea spectacular of pirates, sea creatures, the Titanic and all things water. If you’re in Vegas and need to see a show that has great seats, great prices and no dialogue (great for those who are from abroad) this is the perfect show. It’s also one of the few shows that is suitable for kids (nothing overtly adult, unless they’re shocked by bathing suits) but is also enjoyable for a childfree couple on a date night. You’ll get better, affordable seats than Cirque and won’t have to worry about offending sensitive guests or getting a babysitter like Spiegelworld.

The experience was fine. There were a few acts that stood out (the juggler was great) but there was as a heavy over-reliance on loud music, flashy visuals, and poorly choreographed dancing that proved to be a distraction. The theme of the whole show is very random (loosely water themed, but sometimes not?) and the costumes looked like they were falling apart. There was a noticeable lack of diversity in the cast with the exception of two Latino acrobatic pairs. There was a strange titanic number which felt very out of place sandwiched between two clown acts. Overall, many of the performances were fine, and even good, but felt like something you might see by a street performer rather than on stage in Vegas. Worth going to with kids, as it’s generally family friendly, but even then there were a few adult moments by the comic relief. If you do go, no need to sit in the front rows; the view is good from throughout the theater. Even though it is no Cirque show, one can find themselves gasping, laughing and smiling at moments throughout the performances.

WOW – The Vegas Spectacular, is currently being performed in the Penn and Teller theater at the Rio.  It’s my understanding that this show has been brought in to fill the venue while Teller recovers from relatively recent bypass surgery.  Best wishes to him!WOW is basically a series of adagio acts, simple aerial performances and other visual artists, with a cast of singers and dancers and a guy who performs humorous bits to fill in and segue between them, and to form somewhat of a story line.   The good part is that tickets aren’t terribly expensive, you can sit just a few feet from the stage here for $20 less than just “decent” seats to a Cirque performance will cost you and the performers and acts are skilled.  However, just like I stated in my review of Absinthe after seeing that show a few years back, nothing about WOW or the acts or performances you’ll see is terribly mind-blowing. If you’ve seen similar shows or acts (which are seemingly performed everywhere these days – even in some clubs), you won’t be thrilled here, and overall rather than spending $$ to see WOW, I’d instead put it toward seeing a proper Cirque du Soleil performance where you’ve got a better chance of being truly impressed and “wowed”.It should be noted that, when leaving the Rio and walking to the parking garage to meet our Uber, we passed one of the adagio teams from this show who were walking in the opposite direction.  We complimented them on how well they performed that night.  They ignored us and walked on.  Not even a “thanks”.
