I’ve been going to shows here for years. I’ve had enough with the arrogant security at this place. Heavy handed. Rude. Overly aggressive. I was taking a video of the TCB coffin phone booth & some security goon had to run his mouth at me. I didn’t do anything that would require him to say what he said to me. I’ve heard constant complaints about the security here and they live up to it. Every time I see a show here the security is the biggest problem. Makes me not want to ever go back. They need to get a grip.

Had a really good time Friday night at Vamp’d as always the music is great. We are going back tonight for Damaged Inc, one of the best Metallica tribute bands I’ve ever heard. They book amazing entertainment at this venue and have one of the best sound systems in town, especially for rock. I’d like to give a shout out to Jimmy… He is always on the ball making sure everything is working the way it should and that guests are comfortable. My other thank you goes to Donnie, he is amazing a great ambassador for the club, he does a  good job of working out all the seating details and making sure that everything runs smoothly. My thanks to everyone, our server last night was great it was her birthday and she was working hard with a big smile on her face! All in all I can’t think of a place I would rather spend my weekends listening to music.

This venue is THE worst layout. If you can handle being squished in near the stage otherwise you cannot see the performers you can just hear them and at that point why bother paying that kind of money to see someone live. The drinks are ridiculously expensive and it’s in a weird location so the “locals” that go in there which is most of the people in that place are THE most unfriendly and inhospitable  locals on the planet. The waitresses are a bunch hoes. I’m with my husband and they take an order while only staring my husband down and not even acknowledging he’s with his wife then they purposely shake their ass in his face. Gawd such desperado’s for a measly dollar tip.

This has always been the best place to see a tribute show. Good seating, no smoking, great bands, etc…. But now there appears to be a $50 charge simply to reserve a table. It was fine when there was a $35 or $40 minimum food and drink charge for a table, but to charge $50 for the table, not including any food and drink is just too much. Hopefully, this policy will change.

If your ever looking for some solid rock n roll, Vampd is probably a pretty good place to start.  I’ve been going there for many years and have seen numbers changes, both good and bad.  Prior to the pandemic, I believe at one point, there was live music three times a week.  Besides the music, the food has always been pretty good, the beer cold, and the service staff friendly.  For the first time in at least two years i went in Friday for a dose of Fan Halen.  For the most part everything seemed the same.  Great music, pretty good crowd, and cold beer.  The one thing that I did notice was there weren’t many tables set up (need to reserve tables) but more standing space up front.  What stood out was that a group of several people were asked if they wanted tables and were charged $100 per table (I think they got two, plus tables had to be brought in) and we’re told they needed to buy drinks.  They already paid $10 to get in.  Not sure if this is something new as I don’t remember a charge for tables unless a special charity event.  Just something to be aware of.

Had a blast here. Sat in the front row at Mike H’s table because they somehow lost our reservation. The bans were both amazing. For such a little place, the acoustics are great. We had a couple drinks and the appetizer platter that came with an assortment of yummy bar foods. The service was fast and friendly.

Horrible experience here last Friday   Went with a party of seven and got a booth. We ordered over two hundred dollars worth of food and drink. Which the food was awful. The pizza was worse than little Caesars. Actually reminded me of the pizza we got in the school cafeterias back in the day but was even blander than that.  The worst part of the experience was that my credit card info was stolen. The waitress was gone with my credit card for a while and that made me a little worried but then on Sunday I get a charge on my credit card for hundreds of dollars at O’reilly auto parts?  I hadn’t been out in a while haven’t used my card recently and that was the only time my card was out of sight. So I would say with 100% certainty that it was stolen at Vamp’ed.
