The Fox Brewpub

We had an enjoyable first visit to The Fox during a little jaunt to the capital city this past weekend!The menu here is great – lots of pub classics and comfort food. It’s always tough to make a decision when everything looks so good! We opted to share both the Irish Nachos and the Three Alarm Burger. Our daughter went for the kids cheese pizza.The Irish Nachos are a great value for the price – a big helping of waffle fries, cheese, bacon, sour cream, and green onions for $11. The waffle fries were perfectly crispy and everything just tasted so good together. The burger was definitely not as spicy as we were hoping, but there was a slight kick that was enjoyable. It didn’t come with cheese, we had to add it on for an extra charge. We ordered the burger medium rare and it came out much more on the rare side. But that’s so much better than being overcooked so we didn’t mention anything! My daughter loved her cheese pizza but how can you go wrong there?  We sat on the patio and, even though it was a little cold and windy, it’s such a beautiful spot to sit and people-watch. Our server was great, he had a ton of energy and was amazing at checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. Next time, I would love to see a full drink menu as they only have a beer menu available and they’ve got a full bar in there. Overall, though, we really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return next time we’re in the area!

The food is pretty good. I just ordered a take order over the phone (so they don’t have additional fees for a app) and went to pick it up and had a $5.00 delivery charge. WTF delivery charge for pickups? They told me it was was for additional charge for takeout. But never informed me until I showed up. That’s but that is just wrong an I will not be back. Just charge me for what I’m ordering and if you have to charge more for the burger do it.

Went to the Fox and had the best drinks in town. Super friendly staff. Brad, the bartender, was amazing. Drinks were nice and strong and well balanced. Highly recommend for a fun night out with friends or great place for date night.

Service was amazing, sat with several regulars and locals. Enjoys the vibe! Food was amazing! Western bacon burger with fries and side of coleslaw, was so amazing!!! Great beer!! We’re from California and enjoyed this place very much!!! Will return

Food is amazing! Great service and beer selection is  awesome!! Mishelle in the Fox’s Den is the best, greets everyone that comes in with a smile! She is definitely on top of everything going on. Doesn’t matter if there’s a big party or not, she can handle anything!

Great dining spot with outdoor seating options. Tasty food and a variety of beer on draft to select from. Staff was exceptionally pleasant. Shout out to Bradley B., he has a great attitude and genuinely wanted to make sure we had the best dining experience during our visit. Thank you! We will be back next time we are in town.

Bradley B is the best EVER!! He was so polite, accommodating with knowledge of all the menu items, and the best sense of humor. Please come visit this location when you are in town and ask for Bradley B. He’s the BEST!!!

We brought a group of 15 with both parents and 6 volleyball players and Bradley B. was amazing. He took such great care of us and all orders were correct!  Thank you for a great experience.

Alex was our server and not only was she kind and personable but she was on top of it. They were down a few kitchen staffers and they let us know before seating us. We werent in a rush so we told them we didn’t mind. Our food still came out fast and Alex was keep us updated and keeping us hydrated and comfortable. She will be the reason we go back. We actually went back to back two days in a row because of her and requested to sit in her section because she was so wonderful.

Last night we went to the Fox and sat outside with our puppy. We were told upon coming in the only 1 cook showed up out of 3. We were also informed that the food will have a big delay. The staff was Accommodating to us and our puppy, the food came out in a timely fashion and was perfectly prepared and tasted delicious.  We had a great time with the staff and other customers.  Keep up the good work!!!!
