We agree, it is not the most appetizing name for a product, but we have grown to love the name and we hope that you will too! Please allow me to tell a little story on how the name Dirt Dog was coined. In the early 90's I found myself on streets of Downtown Los Angeles most weekends and in the summer. My parents owned a business in Downtown Los Angeles and I found myself in Downtown with little choices for food. One super hot summer day in front of my parent's store, there was a nice Hispanic lady selling hot dogs on a flat grill. I had never seen this before. The hot dog was wrapped in bacon and toppings of grilled onions, bell peppers, red peppers and jalapenos were offered with mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup to sauce it up.

Iv been here several times, this morning i call place a togo order for fried Oreos and a churro, which is overpriced at eight dollars total for two Oreos and a 6 inch churro, which, honestly I don’t mind spending because the homemade horchata whip cream that comes with It is delicious.Dude gives me my order I get to my car and open up to find that there is no whip cream at all, easy mistake no problem so I go in and ask for it and the short white kid with glasses says yea as he looks down at the mixer and tells me he’s making it. It’s going to be another 15 minutes. Could have told me that ? Instead of just send me on my way with half of my order. I ask for a refund. He says sorry and that’s it doesn’t offer me a free desert or anything. Pretty bad customer service. I wonder if they reach out to me after reading this and do the right thing?
Fun ambiance and delish creative hot dogs. I got the elote dog and it was so flavorful with soft yet crunchy bread. Can’t wait to go back
The food is good but there are some things to be aware of. 1, the rolls they use are different than the ones picture. They are full crust all the way around and on the harder side. The fries are the crunchy crusted not so good fries.
OMG!!! I had the DUI fries and they were sooo freaking delicious. The portions are great size. I had to take the rest back to my hotel but within a few hours they were gone! Service was excellent. Atmosphere was awesome. Pricing reasonable. I will be returning!
I love how unique their hot dogs are. The portions are huge and the flavor is soooo good! I love this place, highly recommend. Only downside is that there is always a line when I go… but that’s how you know it’s GOOD!
We got DUI fries, DUI dog, snoop dogg, elote, and the free check in fried Oreos. The dui fries and dui dog was our favorite compared to the rest. We just came from a big event and brought our food back to our hotel. The fried Oreos and fries were soggy by then. They were decent. I think since we came from a big event, we’re tired and not our normal selves. The sausage part was a bit overwhelming. We felt like we could only take a few bites of each item we got, bc it’s overwhelming due to flavors and oily-ness. But it can also be, a lack of veggies the past few days here in vegas. Service was really good, they were quick and nice. The line was long, went at 4pm, but also it’s a Sunday. Waited about 30 minutes for the line and another 20 minutes for food.
Ok every city should have this place. Yes it’s hot dogs but wow!!!! Best I’ve ever had without a doubt. A must go to
The menu was great as was the service. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant. Bathrooms were neat and tidy. The whole ambiance was superb.. I give the place a 10 pot of 10 and will recommend to family and friends..!!!
So good I give the carne asada fries a 9/10 nice and crispy and hot dog was huggggee. Service was quick.
