The Cracked Egg was a referral from a local  resident of Las Vegas. This place is great if you’re battling a massive hangover and don’t mind the Lackless flavor of texture of food. Nowadays everyone I know that pays money for food wants a great meal, and with breakfast being possibly the best thing to start your morning. This place DOESNT do you any justice. The locals rave about their fresh coffee cake. Which is actually boxed white cake mix with mini chips in it. Then reheated in the microwave and topped off with royal icing. Wifey ordered the Corned beef hash skillet. They used deli Corned beef and not brisket, all the moisture griddled out of it and tough. Slapped it over frozen diced potatoes that were deep fried not seasoned at all. I ordered the Carnitas Omelet, same potatoes the Omelet lacked a kicker. Was super greasy form the potatoes and just missing something. I asked to sub a pancake for the toast, they said no and would have to charge me for it. Little did I think one cake would be 5.25. To sum this place up would be to skip it and head to CraftKitchen.

I use to frequent evey sunday after church. However, I’ve been frequenting less because of the service.  Recently, stopped in early Saturday before  running errands. Again waited 20+minutes before the waitress came to take order; and only after she took others that have sat down 15min after  I sat down. There were at least 4 employees hanging out talking between them selves, but not talking to the patrons communicating the delay. This has been happened more than once. Once the waitress  came over, she was not at all pleasant or accommodating. First communication with her was ” what can I get ya” NOT in a polite tone. My response was the check. I don’t go to a place to pay over- inflated prices for ok comfort food and get horrible service. Eating out is a small luxury not a necessity. I left went up the street to the Omlette house and had every you’d expect. Felt like a customer not like I’m bothering you to order food.

We visited again today and tried different menu items that were all delicious!! Ryan our server gave us some very good recommendations. He was very friendly and didn’t let our coffee cups go dry the entire breakfast! The apple coffee cake baked daily in-house is a must order item! It’s 2 inches high, super fluffy and full of apples! Bonus is that you can substitute it in place of toast with your egg entrees! I had one of the daily specials; the Benny Tostada that was loaded with black beans, onion, smoked green and red peppers, poached eggs, in-house salsa verde and bubbling cheese. I substituted carnitas meat with corned beef hash and it was delicious! This is a great place to meet friends, family and ease into the day. It’s very clean and tidy. The entire staff here is happy to serve you and get your day off to a fantastic start!
