I walk into the place, mind you it requires being buzzed in like a ghetto New York City apartment building, and am greeted by seemingly the hostess who cards me. Ok, she asks if I want to gamble and I say yes, before I ask if they have any beers on tap. She tell me “I’m gonna be honest with you, they never clean the lines, so you should just grab a bottle,” and points to a tall stand up refrigerator far behind what was apparently the bar counter, but with a very large gap in between, before walking away to help another guest. I attempted to read the bottles so I could choose one but it was so far and there was no bartender or chairs to sit at… I saw a hunched over bald woman dragging a cart from behind the bar counter and assumed it was just a homeless person they let in, so I hurriedly moved past her to get a closer look at the bottles of beer. Then, the hostess came back over, looked at me, and said “oh honey you can’t be back here, you need to get out.” Confused, I apologized and backed up, before she continued with “no, not your bad, you need to get the fuck out right now.” 0/5 Would not go again. I work in restaurants and that kind of behavior is never acceptable.

The fried pickles were undercooked and goopy. The wings were mostly breading and not very tasty. The space inside is nice and was quiet. The staff was very friendly. Avoid the pickles tho

Fun & Friendly! Love this place. The decor is amazing, not boring like most neighborhood bars. And the place is very CLEAN. It’s a place to go grab a bite (or just a few drinks) and watch some sports or gamble. And yes, they have loads of arcade games (THE CLAW) but it’s really NOT kid friendly- And of COURSE you need CASH- (to gamble )  We love the bartender Tony because he knows how to take care of the locals – I know I can go there after work (by myself) at 2am and feel 100% safe- he will walk me to my car and always makes me feel welcome.

I was going to a different bar about a block away from this place to watch VGK games. After several visits, I realized my business was not welcome there. I normally give business a few opportunities to improve service before writing a review. Especially bars. I know that a lot of people stiff on tips, and sometimes at first you might get mediocre service. That has not been the case with this bar. On my first visit, I was asked to show I.D. It’s expected when you go to a place where patrons are expected to be a certain age.I’ve met 2 different bar tenders which have both been awesome! The other day I asked the bar tender if I could get the VGK game on the TV in front of me. Not only did he put the game on, but also turned up the sound! Today, I sat down at a seat. The game was on a TV about 3 or 4 TV’s over. I had no problem turning my head over to watch the game. I was doing something on my phone, and when I looked up, I realized he had put the game on the TV in front of me. He also remembered what I drink which was an added bonus!I’m a huge fan of New Orleans and the Saints! When you’re inside the bar, you forget that you’re in Vegas. It has a very cool New Orleans vibe to it. There are TV’s in front of almost every seat. In the back there are several huge screens and very comfortable couches. There’s been a problem they are trying to fix with the video games, which I don’t care because that’s not what I went in for. They do however have a working Pool Table. Beers are very affordable, if I remember correctly, $3.25 or $3.50 a beer. If you’re looking for Mardi Gras beads, they have every team you can think of for sale. I know they have food, but have never tried it. So I can’t speak on it.If you like playing slots, there’s a huge bar area with several machines along the bar.I highly recommend checking them out! I wish I could give them 10 Stars!

Looked good from the outside. Looked cool at first glance upon entry. Then it went south. Our group of seniors (youngest 62) was held up forever while the bartender studied our ID’s and did all but finger print and cavity search us. The furniture appeared to be cat house castaways. The service was as slow as the entry.I guess we should have turned around as soon as we had to hit the doorbell for entry.
