Blue Ribbon Sushi

I have no idea why this place has such great reviews.  The food was overpriced and the sushi as bland (gas station sushi has more flavor) as it could possible be.  Everything tasted the same.  Also, the rolls were cut leaving the pieces too big to shove in my mouth and the rice to sushi ration on the sushi pieces were totally out of wack. No flavor.  $300 bill.  Sake was good.  Maybe if I drank more sake the food would have started tasting better.  But ridiculously over priced.  I would stick with some of the local sushi places.  Resort sushi no bueno.

The burger! Yes, you aren’t seeing things, GET THE BURGER!!! The Wagyu burger is hands down the most delicious burger and fries I’ve ever had; it’s perfection each and every time (we stay at the hotel 3-4 times a year coming from Cali) and when I have a carnivore’s craving I crave THEIR burger; not an overpriced steak from somewhere! Delicious, juicy, flavorful, cooked perfectly to order, with umami fries that are also perfection. I’ve never tried the sushi because when we come to Blue Ribbon all I can think about is the burger! Service is excellent no matter what you order; I LOVE Blue Ribbon!

So far so good. I came to Red Rock Casino because I was feeling lucky and what do you know..I won $400! Amazing! It’s not a lot but when you only bet a little it wasn’t bad. I opted for the Miso Soup because it’s easy on the stomach and I had loaded fries which had cheddar cheese, bacon, onions and a glazed sauce on them. They were very tasty. I couldn’t finish them all but it was a nice snack to have during my time at the casino. The service was great. They were pretty busy but were able to check on me throughout my time there. The ambiance was nice…dim lighting. If you’re ever at the Red Rock Hotel and Casino, I would suggest stopping by to grab a bite to eat. Yes, I could have ordered sushi but that wasn’t my mood. It’s ok, nothing spectacular for the price, for me.  It’s good that they are in the hotel so hotel guests can get sushi  Me, as a local would dine elsewhere.  I don’t really remember much of service or ambiance, it was awhile back I forgot.

In a city of fantastic restaurants, this was a disappointment. Overpriced and poorly executed.

It was just for two, our server was very nice and attentive, It was just for two we ordered the garlic edamame which was great, so flavorful.Blue ribbon fried chicken love it crispy Futomaki must try I think great amount for the priceSashimi deluxe, my dad loved itAnd wagyu skirt steak, we were too full to eat much but it was delicious as well.There are both tables and booths, bar sitting they also have outside sitting tables.Overall we loved everything

A HH stop in the Red Rock and Ye! Blue Ribbon Sushi!The store was inside The Cosmopolitan for years. They got ousted and found a home here. It’s a cute little store and, by mainland standards, pretty authentic decor and menu like the mothership Japan.The Japanese cuisine is great, but I’m here for the Blue Ribbon style Fried Chicken. It ain’t fusion, just crispy and tender chix served with Chili Sauce & Wasabi Honey. The HH menu features the chix wings, spicy tuna roll, and more for $9 a plate. It’s a darn good deal! The service is excellent, which makes going out a pleasure!

Excellent deluxe sashimi platter. It was expensive, though fresh & delicious. Big plus is that on Wed., 55+ Station Casino card holders can pay with points. Wed. points are worth double.

The husband and I wanted to grab a quick dinner and we decided to give Blue Ribbon Sushi a try, as the location was super convenient.We ordered the Sushi Sashimi Combo and a Dragon Roll. Food came out quick and was tasty! The Sushi Sashimi Combo was fresh and the Dragon Roll was pretty standard. Staff and service was good, restaurant was clean with a nice ambiance. Overall, standard sushi restaurant with good options. Worth checking out if you’re staying at the Red Rock.
